Rendez-Vous du Futur – Festival
Thursday 14 and Friday 15, April – 2 p.m to 9 p.m. / Free admission
As part of the 2016 Prix Cube exhibition, audiences are invited to join in the first edition of the Festival des Rendez-vous du Futur ! Over two days, from 2 to 9 p.m., the Festival des Rendez-vous du Futur is featuring 14 hours of participatory broadcasting, which can be followed on-site at the Prix Cube, or live on the Internet.
With artists, architects, philosophers, scientists, sociologists, economists, entrepreneurs and change-makers, over 40 guests from a range of backgrounds will be coming to share and discuss their views of the changing world, in order to think up desirable futures and build them together.
This first edition of the Festival des Rendez-vous du Futur has several highlights: “Le First” turns the spotlight on creative and positive initiatives led by change-makers; “Les Rendez-vous du Futur” feature conversations with key figures, who provide singular and sometimes personal points of view, and “L’After” will end each day with a broadcast of a thematic debate focused on new forms of community involvement and art in the digital age. Since 2010, the Rendez-vous du Futur have been exploring “the coming world”.
